New Milling Machine Expands Capacities at weba Werkzeugbau in Dietach

Dietach, Steyr - weba Werkzeugbau is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of a new SHW UFZ 7 milling machine at its Dietach site. Installation of the universal machining center began in mid-December, and after a three-month installation phase, the machine was commissioned on schedule in mid-March.

Careful planning and precise requirements

In the run-up to the purchase of this state-of-the-art machine, detailed requirements were defined based on the company's objectives. A central focus here was on functionality and ergonomics. In order to ensure optimal use, clamping brackets were specially designed and manufactured for this milling machining center. These enable efficient and ergonomic set-up of the workpieces and ensure that the components to be machined can be machined in the best possible position and with the utmost precision.

Expansion of capacities and technological edge

The SHW UFZ 7 is characterized by a spacious machining area and advanced technologies. This combination enables weba to create additional capacity for machining large castings - a decisive step towards meeting the requirements of ongoing projects. The machine's large machining area allows several workpieces to be set up at the same time, enabling unmanned machining even at weekends. This considerably increases efficiency and flexibility in production, and the use of the latest milling technologies has significantly reduced the processing time for individual castings. This increase in efficiency enables weba to optimize its production processes and meet the increasing demands of its customers in the best possible way.

Future-oriented investment

By investing in the SHW UFZ 7, weba Werkzeugbau is strengthening its position as a leading specialist in toolmaking and ensuring that production can continue to be flexible and efficient in the future. “The expansion of our capacities with the new milling machine is an important step towards meeting the growing demands of our customers and further increasing our competitiveness,” says Hannes Feuerhuber, Managing Director of weba Werkzeugbau.

This investment is another example of weba's commitment to continuously investing in state-of-the-art technologies and optimizing production processes. weba Werkzeugbau thus remains ideally equipped to continue offering innovative and high-quality solutions for the automotive industry in the future.
